Melissa Peterman was decided to work with Hallmark queen Lacey Chabert on a Christmas movie, jokingly admitting to The Checklist that she had “bugged” Chabert on a number of events about collaborating on a Hallmark vacation film. After Peterman learn the preliminary script for “Haul Out the Holly” and noticed the half Chabert was enjoying, she knew this was the movie that would make the collab occur.
Peterman recalled that she and the remainder of the solid felt “starstruck” when Chabert first walked on the set. The “Not One other Teen Film” actor had an vitality about her that Peterman likened to a earlier co-star: legendary entertainer Reba McEntire. “[Reba] led the set with such grace, and she or he was such an incredible chief, and made positive everybody felt revered and had a good time,” Peterman reminisced. Peterman felt Chabert evoked that very same sense of grace and management throughout filming. “On that set, she makes positive everybody feels welcomed, and that it will be an incredible atmosphere to work and brings out all people’s greatest,” she defined.
It isn’t the primary time Peterman and Chabert have labored collectively, although. The actors first labored collectively on the TV collection “Child Daddy,” which featured Peterman as Bonnie Wheeler and Chabert in a visitor arc as Dr. Amy Shaw.
